Greg Hardin
 |
Greg Hardin began chasing his dreams of becoming an artist after
reading "the Amazing Spider-Man" #328 (drawn by Todd
McFarlane) as a sophomore in high school. After graduating with
a B.F.A. in Design from the University of Kansas in 1997, Hardin
immediately started illustrating his first freelance book, "Stargazing,"
published by Stackpole Books.
Hardin then spent
the next three years working as a full time designer/illustrator
at The Kansas City Star newspaper, Plattform Advertising, and
TimeOut Sportswear. In 2000, Hardin moved to Chicago to work for
Big Idea Productions ("VeggieTales," "3-2-1 Penguins,"
"Larryboy") as their Character Artist.
Hardin's design and
publication background fits in well at Big Idea's design studio,
where he currently creates illustrations for myriad toys, posters,
advertisements and other print materials, online games, video
covers, multimedia, apparel, concept work, and his favorite, children's
book illustration.
